Veterinary care is essential for public health, animal health, and animal welfare. In order to continue providing veterinary services for your pets in a manner that keeps our community safe, we have added additional precautions to our clinic protocols.

The following is effective immediately:

Clients will no longer be permitted inside the clinic without direct approval and guidance from one of our team members. We will remain open during our regular clinic hours but our front door will be locked. Please do not worry that the door is locked – we are here and waiting to hear from you.

Once you arrive at the clinic, please remain in your vehicle and call 306-477-1222 to let us know you are here. We will then guide you through the following steps:

  • One of our team members will meet you at the front door to collect your pet and briefly discuss and confirm the reason for your visit.
  • Once your pet has been examined, your veterinarian will call you on your phone to discuss their findings as well as further treatment if necessary.
  • Payment will be taken over the phone and we will meet you at the front door with your pet, receipt, and anything else you may need.

Please understand that wait times may be extended as we do our best to continue safely providing veterinary services and supplies.

For any food order or prescription refills, we kindly ask that you call ahead and, if possible, pre-pay over the phone with a credit card. Please call when you arrive for pick-up and a team member will meet you at the front door with your items. Our usual order time from our suppliers may be slightly affected and so we will only be allowing orders of one month’s worth of supplies.

Our waiting room is closed to the public at this time but we are dedicated to caring for our patients and will absolutely make exceptions for compassionate visits (e.i. euthanasias).
As a reminder, there is currently no indication that dogs or cats can become clinically infected with COVID-19 or that they can transmit the virus from person to person.

We require all clients to follow the guidelines stated by Canada’s Public Health authorities in order to keep us and the rest of our clients safe. Please visit the Government of Canada’s website for health and safety guidelines by clicking here. If you have recently travelled, been in contact with someone who has recently travelled, or if you have any symptoms, please stay home and arrange for someone else to bring your pet to the clinic or pick up supplies.
